Draft LAB is led by Lari Bishop.
Lari has been an editor and writer for more than thirty years, focusing on book development, ghostwriting, and author coaching for the last twenty. She has written more than twenty-five books, including NYT, WSJ, and USA Today bestsellers, and has edited many, many more. She regularly works on book proposals, articles, speeches, whitepapers, and more. Before launching Draft Lab, she worked as a developmental editor with John Wiley & Sons and as managing editor and then senior editor for Greenleaf Book Group, a hybrid publisher. She works in a wide variety of nonfiction genres, from business to personal development to public policy. She holds an economics degree from Bucknell University and a master’s degree in journalism from New York University.

Alex Head is her go-to page designer. Alex has been a book designer for more than fifteen years, designing and composing many, many books. He was also the layout designer for Kirkus Reviews magazine for ten years. He loves working with authors to create great reading experiences—in print and on screen—and holds his projects to the highest standards. He holds a graphic design degree from St. Edward’s University.
