Lari Bishop has been an editor and writer for more than twenty years and has worked in the book publishing industry for the past thirteen years as an editor, a book developer, and a ghostwriter. She has written more than twenty books and has edited many more. She began her editorial career with The Conference Board. Before realizing her dream of working in book publishing, she also worked for an advertising agency and an online educational content provider, developing a unique breadth of copywriting and editing experience.
Lari began her work with John Wiley & Sons as a production editor and then became a developmental editor. As managing editor and then senior editor for Greenleaf Book Group, a hybrid publisher, she worked in a wide variety of genres but specialized in business. She has been writing for the web for the past year, translating her writing expertise into content marketing support for her clients. She holds an economics degree from Bucknell University and a master’s degree in journalism from New York University.
Alex Head is the designer for Kirkus Reviews magazine. He has been a book designer for almost a decade. In that time he has designed numerous covers and interiors and has composed more than seventy-five books, working with designers and authors to create great reading experiences. He believes in upholding traditional book design standards while creating files that are easily converted for every digital platform. He holds a graphic design degree from St. Edward’s University.
