1. Based on your research into competitive titles (see Writing Prompt #4), refine your message and promise to improve or reflect your book’s differentiation in the market.
2. Test your message and promise on some people who could realistically be members of your core audience. Try gathering a group to discuss the core idea of your book. If you are working with an editor, share your preliminary thoughts. (Check out this post on finding an accountabili-buddy.)
3. Refine your message, promise, and differentiation again.
